Bobbex Deer Repellent Concentrate Review: One of the Best Deer Repellent Spray Products!

Product Rating

Our aim today is to explain to you why Bobbex Deer Repellent Concentrate is one of the best deer repellent spray products currently available.

Right off the bat, it’s worth noting that Bobbex is not shy about stating their deer repellent is the best on the market.

They claim that it has been proven to be the longest lasting, most effective natural deer repellent.

While we cannot confirm nor deny that claim, it’s quite clear that it works and has thousands of satisfied customers.

In addition, an independent study conducted by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (Department of Forestry and Horticulture) concluded that Bobbex was the most effective deer repellent only after a physical fence. It scored a 93% on its protection index while the fence scored 100%. To put this in perspective, its nearest competitor scored an 83%. This study shows that Bobbex is simply the best deer repellent product next to a physical barrier.

Furthermore, they provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee on this product. If you’re not satisfied with the results, they will reimburse you the full purchase price.

Bobbex deer repellent is also available in a pre-diluted spray bottle but we only advocate purchasing the concentrate. This is due to the fact that you get considerably more usable product for the money by simply mixing it with water yourself.

Below we will provide you with some of the product features, Bobbex Deer Repellent reviews and where to buy Bobbex Deer Repellent.

  1. I’m just getting ready to plant a garden at our new house. I’ve noticed quite a few deer in the area because our yard borders on a creek where the deer come to drink. So I’ve been wondering how I was going to deter the deer. I really like the fact that Bobbex deer repellent is an all natural product. But I noticed that it can’t be used on herbs or edible leaves. For these plants would you suggest using soaked string on a stake like you had in your video? If so, how close will I need to put the stake to the plants?
Thank you for your help and advise!

    • Very good observation Evelyn! You can certainly use material soaked with Bobbex approximately 3ft outside of the perimeter of your garden.

Alternatively, you could try PlotSaver Deer Repellent which includes all of the necessary materials.

Furthermore, Deer Scram is a granular product that can be scattered on the ground outside of your garden as well. This is far more convenient as you won’t have to hang soaked ribbon.

All 3 of these are viable options to get rid of deer for good!

Best of luck with the new house!

    • Hey Nemira,

Bobbex is effective for both deer and rabbits so this would be right up your alley!

This deer repellent spray does use putrescent eggs but it’s not that noticeable to humans.

Deer have a much more advanced sense of smell and therefore can smell the eggs even when we can’t.

You can’t go wrong with Bobbex!

  3. I don’t really want to scare the deer out of the yard, only to have them not eat my plants. Will they avoid the yard entirely when I spray it on my bedding plants?

    Reply
    • No, it will not scare them away completely. It will just prevent them from eating your desirable plants. Don’t forget to reapply periodically (especially after a heavy rainfall). Hope this helps!

    • We do not believe that this should have a long-term impact on the smell of your roses. However, there may be an alteration of their odor in the short-term.

I clicked on the highlighted “an independent study” phrase because I wanted to read the contents of that study, but that link is apparently no longer available.
Could you please provide a valid link to that Conn Agr Exp Station study?
    Thanks,

  6. Hello.
I would like to ask if it’s ok to refrigerate for storage the unused 1 gal. concentrate mix I made since I use it weekly by refilling my spray bottle.
The reason for me coming up with this is that during the current summer month, the unused 1 gal mix I made & kept in my garage got very foul smelling (like sewer and decaying meat). The basement is fairly dry but maybe its because of the warm summer month? So maybe I should refrigerate the unused gallon mix until I need to refill. Thoughts? Thanks for any advice.
BTW, I give Bobbex 5 stars. Effective in deterring the adorable but always hungry Bambis

    • This is a very interesting question and one that should be directed towards the manufacturer. They would have a much better handle on the storage requirements for this product. We’re happy it has worked wonders for you!
